MILE is excited to announce a publication in the Pharmaceutical Medicine entitled ‘Best Practices for Medical Information Global Response Documents from phactMI and MILE‘.

Medical information departments are responsible for providing accurate, evidence‑based responses to unsolicited healthcare professional inquiries. To improve consistency between global and local teams, global response documents (GRDs) are used to harmonize scientific response content. To address challenges in developing and maintaining GRDs, phactMI and the MILE MI Standards taskforce convened an international panel of experts from 11 pharmaceutical companies, who agreed on best‑practice recommendations for GRD creation and management, including optimal document structure and format that balance stakeholder needs with medical accuracy.
